The Business Forum and the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Conference will be held from the 25th to the 27th of October in Tallinn, ahead of the fifth Eastern Partnership Summit in Brussels on November 24th.

The main purpose of the business forum is to promote business cooperation and new business opportunities, including in the digital economy, innovation and e-commerce. The forum is also an opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises in the region to get acquainted with the possibilities of economic cooperation with EU member states and Eastern Partnership countries.

In parallel with the business forum, the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Conference will be held in Tallinn. It will also be the first time that the conference is accompanied by the 9th General Assembly of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum. Participants in the Tallinn meeting will discuss the future of the Eastern Partnership and the role of civil society in the reform process underway in the region. In addition to participating in panel discussions, participants will also be able to share their experiences during workshops, present their projects and meet with representatives of local NGOs.

The events will be attended by the President of Estonia, Kersti Kaljulaid and Johannes Hahn, EU Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Policy.
