    From 14th to 17th of August 2017 Ms. Anna Zalewska, Minister of National Education of the Republic of Poland, took part in the 41st World Scout Conference in Baku.

    The main goal of the minister’s visit was to support the Polish candidacy for the organization of the 25th World Scout Jamboree in 2023.


    Minister of National Education participated in the talks with the representatives of scout organizations from all over the world; discussing issues of volunteer activity, cooperation and youth exchange as well as education.


    Minister Anna Zalewska together with the Polish delegation met the deputy speaker of the Azerbaijan Parliament Mr. Valeh F. Alasgarov, Minister of Sport and Youth of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Azad A. Rahimov and visited the Polish diaspora.


    The Polish side at the 41st World Scout Conference was represented by Mr. Wojciech Kolarski, undersecretary of state in the Chancery of the President, Mr. Paweł Szrot, secretary of state, deputy head of the Chancery of Prime Minister and Mr. Jan Dziedziczak, deputy minister of Foreign Affairs, as well as senator Ms. Malgorzata Kopiczko and member of Parliament Mr. Piotr Cieslinski.
